Partner, Cindy Scott
Prior to joining Lewis Companies Inc., Cindy was a Public Relations Practitioner and Marketing Supervisor, making her a particular asset to Marketing, Sales and Communications searches. Her entrepreneurial spirit and client-focused approach to assignments provide a solid foundation for successful executive search.
In her time at Lewis Companies Inc., Cindy has performed many national and international consulting projects for a global hotel chain which have included: procurement; compensation and benefits; development; corporate communications; marketing and other executive positions. She has actively engaged in numerous search projects for one of the world’s largest engineering consulting firms and delivered several additional candidate hires. A strong and passionate researcher, Cindy has been responsible for all sourcing and recruitment for a large global fixtures manufacturer, an international management consulting firm and several additional engineering consulting firms. Most recently, she represented the firm at a roundtable discussion chaired by the Minister of Economic Trade and Development addressing Canada’s Impending Labour Shortage as well as a discussion on how to Foster a Climate for Success which was aired live on Rogers Cable 10.
Cindy is a Double Major Political Science and Cultural Studies Honours graduate from McGill University. She has also completed a Corporate Communications Graduate program at Seneca College in Toronto and is fluently bilingual in French with a strong knowledge in Spanish. Cindy is currently working to achieve her Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, the highest level of qualification in human resources management in Canada. As a volunteer, Cindy is involved with The Corsage Project, a nonprofit organization that works in partnership with the Children's Aid Foundation and The Design Exchange, an organization that works to promote the value of Canadian design.
